Hearing study - 60 to 85 year-old adults with normal hearing

Description

The purpose of our research is to obtain a better understanding of hearing. During the course of the study, you will sit in a soundproof booth and listen to sounds presented over headphones. When a target sound is heard, you will be prompted to make a response by pressing a button on a response box.

Age Range 60 - 85 years

Participant qualification(s) 60 to 85 years old, normal hearing, no history of ear problems

Not eligible if: Age outside of 60 to 85 years old, hearing loss, history of ear problems

    » 2-3 In person visit(s)

    2-3 study visits of one hour each

    » 0 Remote visit(s)

Participation Period

2-3 study visits of one hour each. There may be additional studies available after the first study is complete

Compensation

$15 per hour, parking vouchers as needed
