Description

This is a study investigating an alternative treatment for managing blood glucose and HbA1c in children & adolescents with Type 2 Diabetes. The study medication is a powder that is mixed with water, juice, or diet soda and taken with an evening meal. Study medication and supplies are provided as part of the study.

Children & Adolescents with Type 2 Diabetes who are only taking metformin or have not been treated with medications for Type 2 Diabetes.
